I was trying to go a bit cheaper than the $300 glass pool table lights but this seemed pretty low quality for $90. The lamp shades are plastic and when you scan down the light you can see it really doesn't hang straight and the lamp shades are all slightly out of line. It works but most of the fittings and screws had come loose during shipping so there was a decent amount of re-assembly. It does light up the table and make it easier to play but I probably would have been happier springing for the nice $300 glass light. We just put this up in our garage and it looks great. Even though the shades are NOT glass, it still looks wonderful when you turn it on. Our garage is painted red, and this fits perfectly in with the rooms theme. We are very pleased with our purchase, and the 3 day processing was worth the wait. Packaged well, easy to install, and the cord has a little switch to turn it on and off close to the bottom, so that if you plug it into the ceiling, you can turn it off with ease. We are using 100w bulbs and it's not very bright, but you can see your shots well enough without it blinding you. So, all in all, this was a good buy. I would recommend. :)
