this item work good.one thing i am not sure about is the part where the light is.it does'nt stay up in a horizontal position.its always down. i have to hold it in any position that i want to use.

i don't know if it was made that so that you can adjust easily or it has a fault.

the clamp need to be improve on.

I received my lamp on time and it was exactly what I was expecting for the cheap price. It works good, the magnification is good. If you order this just be prepared to screw it down to were you are going to locate it.The clamp it comes with does not hold it down good enough. But it has four holes in the base part of the clamp housing. After trying to secure it to my computer desk with just the clamp I could see it needed help to hold it on so I put four screws in the base and it is solid now. It says you can use a screw in type fluorescent bulb but I tried that and the base of the fluorescent bulb is to wide for it to screw in far enough for it to make contact with the bottom of the socket and would not light up.Thank You Jack's Tool Shed for fast and efficient service.
