This a great product. We purchased it to aid my wife, whose vision is impaired. She makes jewelry and her old light broke where it attached to the swivel. This light is better engineered with the ballast attached to the arm instead of the swivel.

This fits my needs very well but I wish it was available in a stronger magnification. The viewing surface is large, the light is clear and not hot and the arm stays put where I set it. IT seems to be of very good quality. I popped the hinged lid off because it got in my way. I use it for reading and crafts.
