Picture shown online and on the box is when it is lit. Without light on, it looks dark brown. First one I paid $39, when I ordered the second one price went up to $53, now it is $59. Second one didn't have the original packing, wrapped in bubble wrap. Shocked to see the dark brown, thought I got the wrong item, open the first one in original packing, that too is dark brown.
When it is lit looks very nice, when it is not lit looks horrible.

Nice light, wrong color. Received pendant lights and was shocked to see they were dark brown and banana yellow instead of the pretty burnt orange in the photo. Photo on box was also different than the actual light. Had to send back. Amazon reembursed foreverything.

I bought 3 of these lights for our new kitchen. They look very elegant. I was slightly disappointed that they are actually more yellow than red, also each hangs from a black cord rather than a metal rod. However, on the whole I am very pleased with these pendant lights.
