This is a truly adorable lamp. However, the measurement must be to the very top of the final. I bought mine from Amazon Warehouse and it was all broken with missing pieces. Returned immediately. If you have a small area, this lamp would be perfect. Broken and sad with pieces missing this is still a super cute little floor lamp. May just order a new one as I like the look.
