The Daylight Triple Bright Lamp is very very bright.Just what I need in doing artwork. It is solid and well made.The swivel modes are good. However the clamp which would be fine for most everyone, was not for my set up of a art table with no level surface when tilted so the lamp just swiveled uselessly. The daylight wall bracket did the trick. I had to anchor that bracket (make sure it is level before anchoring it) to the house wall (window sill--slightly above the art table). I believe that the bracket should be part of the lamp. he lamp fluorescent tubes do emit a very very slight hum---not enough to bother me at all.
