I wanted to build a track and mount for a swing arm light for my home wood shop and after searching all local stores with no luck I found this one which would except a 100 watt bulb which not very many other lights would except. I purchased the light, installed it in my shop and has been used daily since and with the 36 inch arm plus the 100 watt bulb I can position the light exactly where the light is needed. Great light and I am very satisified with my purchase and have even recomended the light to others how have seen my shop light. would definantely recomend to anyone.

Finally a lamp that is well built, mostly steel, and stays in position! I have had too many of these hit me in the head or have had to jury rig something to keep it in place. This one stays where you put it. The shroud does not get terribly hot so you can use this to position the light a nice feature. Excellent product. Will be buying more as need dictates.

Glad I found this Lamp as I was sick of the plastic ones that are similar to this. This one will hold its pose and wont slump down like others at the same price point.

I needed a light for my workbench and this one filled the bill. The lamp comes with a clamp to attach it to a table such as a drafting table. This didn't work for me but the clamp can be discarded and the base can be mounted flat to the workbench with screws, which is what I ended up doing. It's great!

I don't usually write evauations of products, but this is one of the best items i've ever ordered!!! This, along with the METAL clamp, has made my jigsaw puzzle hobby much more enjoyable! I.m sure this lamp would fulfill many other "I need light" applications. I'm going to order another one along with the metal clamp just to have it on hand!! Use a "bright white" CFL bulb (not much heat) and I'm sure you"l be pleased too!!
