I ordered the Sunderland blue lamps for a guest room. The current photos show the true color. The packaging was excellent. My only minor complaint is that the shades don't sit perfectly level, so I had to turn the lamp base a bit to give the appearance of levelness from the front, but it's not a severe problem.

The picture is accurate, the color matches wonderfully with my décor. Only problem is that the shade tends to move around too easily. Every time I turn the lamp on the shade moves and sometimes looks crooked. Easy to straighten, though. Would buy again.

I bought one green and two blue of these lamps almost 2 years ago. They are beautiful lamps! The colors and the style are wonderful and I am very happy with them. BUT... there is one problem. My cat knocked over the green lamp and the shade is now badly dented and creased. I thought, no problem, I will just go buy a replacement shade, right? No so easy! I literally tried every single large shade on the aisle of a well known red-circle store and not one would fit the lamp. I tried looking online, and no luck. I tried writing the manufacturer and got no answer. Here is the problem: the shade for this lamp must have been specially made just for this lamp because the socket base, the part the shade ring/hole has to slip over and down on, is too large. Every single large size shade (oh yes, I even tried mediums sizes too) I tried on the lamp would NOT fit over its socket base! They all just sort of sat on top and teetered there. So now what am I supposed to do with this lamp if I cannot buy a replacement shade for it? I guess I will have to buy another lamp, but it will not be from this manufacturer. I do not consider it a wise buy when you spend a lot of money for a lamp and then cannot replace the shade. To sum, although the lamps are gorgeous, just remember if you ever need to replace the shade... you are screwed.

Love the blue base of this lamp, but it would look better (in my opinion) with a white shade. Also, my bedroom has no beige tones in it -I'm going to try to find a white shade that fits. The switch for turning the lamp on is also a little awkward (the old fashioned knob at the base of the bulb) you have to stick your hand up the shade in order to reach the know. A switch on the cord or the base would have been much better. Still, when you buy a blue glass lamp, you can't say you're going for functionality. The blue is very pretty and exactly as pictured.

To me, the packaging is ok, but glad the lamps are fine. It is a bit bigger than I expected, but fine with me. But, the shade is not as white as it shown and more like yellowish. Whiter will definitely looks better.
