I bought two of these lamps for my bedside tables because they match my color scheme. The shades are very pretty and the brushed steel is also nice. The bottom is clear acrylic. The reason I am giving them 4 out of 5 stars is because for some reason one lamp fits the standard 60W light bulb while the other lamp does not. I think that the part that fastens into the lamp to hang the shade is the problem. I think one is the proper height dimension while the other is not. I was able to work around this but it does bug me. Also, the lamp shades are difficult to keep straight and uniform around the fixture (like a framed picture on the wall that never seems perfectly straight). Otherwise, these are very pretty lamps, on the feminime side, with a shade color that is true to the photo. These lamps are on the taller side and I was a little concerned that they would be too tall; however, the height works. I am pleased with the overall design impact.
