I bought this for my 100 year old father-in-law who is suffering a decline in his vision. It immediately gave him the strong light he needs to be able to read his newspaper and magazines and the magnifier adds to his capabilities.

I do like this light. I hope the LEDs last a long time. I used to use a florecent lamp, but the bulbs got too high.
