This lamp gets my reward for being most unlike its online description and photo. Thank goodness I ordered through Amazon where returns are easy.

This lamp shade is cheap green plastic with a wicker covering that drops over it. Now I know that all these "Tiffany, Mission,art glass, Mica,"etc shades are made of cheaper material than real leaded glass anymore, and I have purchased many, but this really looks cheap. And the base is also poorly done. The highlight coloration on the floral motif is very inconsistent and looks bad, at least on the one lamp I opened.

Don't waste your time or money on these. I cannot believe that others gave this lamp 5 stars.

This is a really great looking piece, and works well in a deco decor. The statue is heavy and solidly made. Four stars because a) fit and finish isn't great The lamp part is tilted a bit to the left, and b) at $100, they could have included a bulb. It also had a huge styrofoam package.

I bought this as a gift and it looks great. Be aware to use a 4 watt night light bulb as anything brighter overwhelms the reflections that highlight the figures. But with a 4 watt bulb it really looks good.

I'd rate this product at 5 stars for the following reasons:

Looks great in the light, and better at night.

Efficient

Will not turn on in day light even if switch is turned on. Nice feature which adds to efficiency.

The way the light is cast below and across the area from the fixture, it hits the ground making a really cool pattern adding a ton of character that the look of a light fixture alone can not do by itself. These are by far the best in my neighborhood in my opinion. I used 2 big ones on the garage and one littler one by the door and it is just awesome. I'm glad I spent more money on lights. It makes a tremendous difference in appearance.

Slight Negatives:

I had to bend each one down to make it look like it should.

Some came with plastic sleeves to protect the glass from the metal retaining clips and some didn't, creating a point of weakness that will cause the glass globe to break.

Made in China -

Cost....,I think they could be priced much cheaper.

If I were to choose again, I'd still get this light, I just love it.

Don't buy the item. The porcelain elephant will be broken very easily.

I order the elephant lamp from amazon.com and receive the lamp in a broken state. I ask for an order replacement and receive the second one as broken too. I feel very frustrated! If you want to save your time and energy, then stay away from this lamp. If you want to try your luck, then go ahead.

However, the amazon customer service is very good. I get a full refund.

I ordered this lamp for my baby's nusery and I could not be more pleased with the product. I ordered the clear but after seeing it in person I would imagine that the colored would be beautiful also. I love the look of this small chandelier lamp, although it is made of plastic crystals that look very real. I'm using it on a small table in my bedroom and it makes shabby chic area look formal. I looked at this lamp for awhile, but the price was holding me back. This one was a real bargain thu Amazon and I'm happy to have gotten it! Love the pink glow it creates, I keep a 4 watt bulb and keep it on most of the time!

I did a Princess make over for my girls room and I got this lamp for their table lamp. Gives off just enough light to do basic things while the girls are asleep or when waking in the morning and you don't want blinding light on. The crystals are acrylic, not plastic, and once gently cleaned with glass cleaner the really sparkled when the light was on. The trimming is glass beads and they help with the sparkle. Photo shows a slight yellow tinge. That is only so it shows in photos. It's all clear "crystal". Very cute and goes perfect with the look I was trying to accomplish. Only draw back is the big silver CAUTION warning around the bulb socket. Since there isn't a shade, you can see all the ugly writing and it so sticky you can't take it off. But if you're like me, you'll eventually not notice it. I would totally recommend this. I also got the matching chandelier. Also very cute, put it's plug in or hard wire only. This lamp has an on/off switch. The chandelier doesn't.

This lamp is very pretty, and I think it looks great in my daughter's room. However, it does not give off very much light due to the small, exposed bulb. My husband tried to get me to return it when he saw it for the first time. A year later, I can now finally admit that it was not a good purchase.

If you only want it as part of the decor, it's great! But if you want it to actually light the room, this is not for you.

I wish I had returned it when my husband asked me to, and gotten something more practical!

I got this table lamp for my daughter for Christmas to match with the Tadpoles Chandelier. I absolutely love the chandelier, but the table lamp, I was not too impressed with. It is cute, but it does notput out anywhere near the amount of light we were needing it to. It replaced just a regular lamp with lampshade that sat on a table beside my daughters bed, but it doesnt put out enough light on its own to really allow her to read in bed at night. I gave her the option of returning it, but she liked it enough to keep it. Combined with the chandelier the bedroom is well lit.

I ordered the Sunderland blue lamps for a guest room. The current photos show the true color. The packaging was excellent. My only minor complaint is that the shades don't sit perfectly level, so I had to turn the lamp base a bit to give the appearance of levelness from the front, but it's not a severe problem.

The picture is accurate, the color matches wonderfully with my décor. Only problem is that the shade tends to move around too easily. Every time I turn the lamp on the shade moves and sometimes looks crooked. Easy to straighten, though. Would buy again.

I bought one green and two blue of these lamps almost 2 years ago. They are beautiful lamps! The colors and the style are wonderful and I am very happy with them. BUT... there is one problem. My cat knocked over the green lamp and the shade is now badly dented and creased. I thought, no problem, I will just go buy a replacement shade, right? No so easy! I literally tried every single large shade on the aisle of a well known red-circle store and not one would fit the lamp. I tried looking online, and no luck. I tried writing the manufacturer and got no answer. Here is the problem: the shade for this lamp must have been specially made just for this lamp because the socket base, the part the shade ring/hole has to slip over and down on, is too large. Every single large size shade (oh yes, I even tried mediums sizes too) I tried on the lamp would NOT fit over its socket base! They all just sort of sat on top and teetered there. So now what am I supposed to do with this lamp if I cannot buy a replacement shade for it? I guess I will have to buy another lamp, but it will not be from this manufacturer. I do not consider it a wise buy when you spend a lot of money for a lamp and then cannot replace the shade. To sum, although the lamps are gorgeous, just remember if you ever need to replace the shade... you are screwed.

Love the blue base of this lamp, but it would look better (in my opinion) with a white shade. Also, my bedroom has no beige tones in it -I'm going to try to find a white shade that fits. The switch for turning the lamp on is also a little awkward (the old fashioned knob at the base of the bulb) you have to stick your hand up the shade in order to reach the know. A switch on the cord or the base would have been much better. Still, when you buy a blue glass lamp, you can't say you're going for functionality. The blue is very pretty and exactly as pictured.

To me, the packaging is ok, but glad the lamps are fine. It is a bit bigger than I expected, but fine with me. But, the shade is not as white as it shown and more like yellowish. Whiter will definitely looks better.

I like the lamp the way it looks and the fact that it takes up no table space. The decorative stone on it, however, is heavy and the telescoping arm is not quite tight and sturdy enough to keep the lamp from "listing" downward because of the extra weight. I will not be able to extend the arm of the lamp much because of this. Overall, the look of the lamp is attractive. I do recommend not attaching it directly to the wall, rather, it should be attached to a piece of wood that is attached to the wall this gives the lamp more level stability against the wall as the screws attaching the lamp to the attachment plate are a little cheesy and don't really serve to stabilize the overall weight of the lamp. It's an attractive product, just not very well built and probably not worth to price to most.

The lamp looks nice and sturdy in the picture; however, in reality it is kind of cheap looking and flimsy. I ended up returning the two that I bought. Too bad Amazon charges you for shipping even for poor quality products.

I had ordered a similar lamp from Home Depot. It was junk. I ordered this one, and for $95 it should have been, at least, adequate quality. It's not. First the posting on Amazon did not mention it came with a cord cover so I had to buy one for $16.99 (which I will return, but it's a hassle). When mounting the lamp on the wall, there was (so help me) about 3/16th of an inch for the small finials to grab the lamp. Those finials are all that's holding the lamp up. I had to do some wiggling because the posting did not give the measurement of the back plate that had to screwed into the wall. And when it was all put together, everything was crooked. It is in a kitchen so I left it. This is a $29 lamp, at best. When is America going to start making products again? China's stuff is getting to be awful.
