This is a good quality lamp! And man was it shipped securely! It was packaged in the box with lots of styrofoam and then the box had heavy duty cardboard on each corner all tightly bound together!

I got two lamps and both came with no scratches and are very pretty both when lit and unlit! My only problem with them is that they are short. I knew this when I got them but when I put them on my nightstands in place of my taller lamps it looks like there is void above them. No ones fault I just didn't think of it when I bought them.

They are gorgeous though! I recommend them!

I was on line looking for a table lamp and found this particular one, I liked what I saw and when I plugged

it up the lighting was great. I'm not to happy about where the on & off switch is located but other than that I would recommend

I guess I should have read the watts before purchasing. I love the design of these lamps. However, there's not much light produced when using the recommended light bulb. Creates a great sense of warmth when I placed one on each side of my living room television. I don't regret my purchase, and, honestly, I'm sure they'd be too distracting if they were brighter. 4 stars because it isn't a perfect product, but it's pretty close for the price.

Bought this to go in my new office. It arrived on time and in excellent shape. Easy to assemble--simply put the shade on the base and you're good to go. No tools needed. You will need a 40 watt lightbulb, of course. I use a CLF and it works great. Good light and attractive. Very solid as well. The base appears to be made of a solid wood or wood-like product. It is a solid black color. The shade gives off a gentle tan glow--ideal for my office. It sits atop a bookcase and looks great. Solid, stable, well-made. Can't complain. There is a slight gap between the bottom of the shade and the base. And at certain angles the bright underside of the shade can be seen. With a little adjustment, I was able to reduce the gap so it's not so noticeable. Other than that, I'm very happy with the purchase.
