It was shipped in a timely manner and well packaged. Simple to put together and use. There wasn't an instruction booklet but the seller contacted me the following day by phone when I emailed him about specific questions I had. I wish the battery had a charge/usage indicator so you had an idea about usage or how long the battery takes to recharge. There are several adapters included for the output jacks on the battery but I wish there was an adapter included that would allow you to directly connect the solar panel to an inverter and bypass the battery. I purchased a dc/ac inverter and have used this system to charge to my phone and laptop several times. Because of the heat we've been experiencing lengthy and random blackouts. The system worked great so far. I've been the only person on the block with lights. So far the lights have lasted longer than I have so I'm not sure how long they work. I keep it hooked up all the time in a sunny place so without a meter I'm not sure how long it took the battery to recharge. It's worked well during the blackouts and was grateful to have it. I can't comment about reliability and durability since the system is so infrequently used. That's the problem with purchasing these systems, you don't know how well they'll work until you need them. The picture of the product is accurate and I wasn't disappointed when I opened the box and assembled it. I like the idea that you have everything you need for backup charging and lighting. Many systems provide solar power but don't include a means to store or use the energy. This product has everything, what appears to be a quality solar panel, a battery to store power for emergencies, a backup lighting source with lengthy cables, and adapters, with the exception of an inverter to directly plug in ac devices. It's convenient, easy to use and assemble. You have pretty much everything you need for emergencies.
