This is a lovely lamp except for the shade. The base is very pretty with the glass color tending more toward green than blue. It looks great in my sea foam bedroom. The shade is an off white fabric with a stiff back. It's OK when the light is not turned on. When the light is on the shade turns to a yellow-brown beige which I don't care for. The color is darker than it appears in the photo. There is a flaw in the way the trim was attached to the shade. It is uneven. The vertical seam is also very noticeable. I wish the manufacturer had offered this lamp with a pure white shade.
