This is a pretty lamp with an attractive Craftsman design and I get compliments on them; I have two. The lit base with dragonfly relief is unique. I wish the base was glass but it's good quality plastic. To install the bulb in the base, the lamp has to be disassembled. When reassembling it's difficult to set the lightpost straight up because the molding around the top of the base is uneven and makes it hard to set the post plumb and thus the shade has an uneven attitude. Since I have two of these it was a bit of work to make them appear uniform when seen together. This dealer's price is roughly 200% more than I paid for mine. I would investigate other lamps of similar design for quality before paying this price. The shade could've been built a little better but is a reasonable replication of the original type. I use mine for accent and am happy with them.

After looking around for quite some time for some lamps, I finally decided to go with this Kenroy set. From what I could tell, there were fairly positive reviews, and the style and quality would match my new sofa and living room furniture nicely.

First off, as others reported, the photos don't show the true colors. My lamps have more blue/green/teal than the photos reveal. In my case that was OK as it complemented the colors I had working for me already so I had no hesitation moving forward with the order. The lamp shades seemed darker than the photos as well but not a bad color in and of itself.

Now overall quality: I realize I'm not paying $300 per lamp, so I my expectation was that I would receive something functional and relatively well put together. WRONG! As I started to take things out of the box I quickly realized that the quality of these lamps was poor. I'll start with the lamp shades seams were uneven and someone got a little crazy with their "glue gun" and there were little clear strings of glue all over. The lamp bases themselves in the picture look as if the edges are nicely finished, but in reality it kind of looks like a 5th grader's "glue project" the way the corners of the slate are put together.

One of the finials arrived with a corner cracked off (I hope they can send a replacement without sending everything back!) The styrofoam was disintegrating and I've got little dots of "white snow" everywhere as part of the unpacking process. One of the messiest unpacking adventures I've ever had with something from Amazon.

As for the description, in the product details, Amazon says: "3-way switches for flexible lighting options" ... well I took that to mean I could use 3 way bulbs (you know 50/100/150) so that I could control the amount of light I would get. Unfortunately, 3 way bulbs as I know them, don't work... so I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out what exactly that means. The lamps are "functional" in that they do work but they don't look very good doing the job!

All-in-all if it wouldn't be such a hassle I would send these duds back. Instead I'll keep them around until I can find something of better quality and/or I find a great deal on some lamp shades that are of higher quality to make up for the shabby ones that come with the lamp. I've ordered a lot of things from Amazon and, most of the time, I like what I get but this was an epic disappointment and I wouldn't recommend wasting your cash unless you plan on using them temporarily.

I specifically bought these lamps because of the description and 3 way switch but not one of the lamps had the 3 way switch (only 1 way) and it looked like it had been opened already. I went to return and it took me awhile to even figure that out because of this item shipping by amazon. I wont be trusting Amazons listings anymore, they used to be reliable but this is the second product I am having to return because the product was shipped incorrectly or not as described.

My lamps arrived after 16 days and the shades were damaged (both). Also, those shades look too big to me, it covers the ball underneath. Lamps are really big, but they look nice, and I like the bottom part more, the wood oval looks cool in the bedroom and matches to my furniture. Warm color wood plus modern look. I just hope they will replace the shades and I will get them in a good condition, otherwise, I will return them back.

Best IKEA - JANSJÖ LED Clamp Desk Lamp spotlight, white Deals

Nice bright and focused light.

The clamp will work on anything up tp about 1" thick...and it's "bite" is about 1 1/2" deep...with some little suction cups on each side.

I expected the flexible stem to be longer like the Jansjo LED lamps with a base (own 2 and love them). The stem is about 12" long on these (from base to bottom of bulb casing). Still very useful and handy.

The style of this lamp is great! Easy to direct light to area in need. The glare on apple screen is too great with the wider light range of most lamps; causing eye strain. The cord is long and easily flexible; as is the clip. As others have mentioned, the switch is a problem, have to jiggle it sometimes to engage light. JansJo should fix this part of the design and charge a few more bucks if that what it takes to make it a better product. The size and flexibility of this lamp make it perfect for the smaller home. If the switch weren't a problem this lamp would rate a 5 star.

The 3 pack of switches is really great. They work really well and there is actually no set up. I wanted one outside to turn on Decorative lights and I was concerned it could be damaged or shorted in the rain. I mounted it inside a sealed plastic box and was still able to actuate it from over 40 ft away.

These wireless remote control outlet switches are nothing fancy but they do the job. One of the units did not work out of the package until I slapped on the side of it a few times. The red light that indicates power would come on and then fade out. It is supposed to be on when it is plugged in. I was upset because I did not want to send all three of them back because of the one defective unit. Luckily after I slapped on the side of unit number 1 it started working and so far has not been a problem. That's been at least a week now. Don't think I will have a major issue with it again. The remote control did come with a battery although it was buried loosely in the packaging so be careful. Amazon assured me that I could have either a refund or replacement within 30 days so that is nice to know! Great for all 3 of my lamps which are a table lamp, a dining room swag light and a floor lamp. Remote control will work through the walls from my bedroom to turn them on or off if I want to. That is approximately 30 feet away through a couple walls. I would purchase again but pay no more than the $25.

Recently purchased this to replace an aging and failing "Clapper". The sound activation isn't important to me. What is important to me is having the easy push button control on my night-table.

The product works but here are my initial impressions:

Battery insertion was difficult just as previous reviewers mentioned. It took me about 4-5 attempts to get the thing to fit and remain in its compartment.

The remote control feels cheaply made and the buttons seem fragile.

There's no keyring or hole on the remote control like there is on the Clapper remote control so I can't "hang" it on my night-table. Worked-around it with tie-wrap but velcro would probably work, too.

The battery isn't AA, AAA, or standard 9V. It's 23A, 12W.

Each of the three remote sockets is about 4" long and 2.5" wide. And the prongs seem "reversed" so that you cannot hang a unit from the wall outlet. Plug the remote outlet into the wall and it extends upward. If plugged into the upper wall outlet of the two, the bottom outlet is unusable.

If plugged into a powerstrip, one or two other outlets on the strip are unusable.

Other than these, it seems ok.

I'm disappointed with the product but satisfied that it works.

This is a great product. It allows me to turn off/on my bedroom lights without getting out of bed. Easy to install. Three buttons for control of three lights. Same button for on and off. Couldn't find this at Home Depot, but Amazon had it at a great price. Thanks!

This is a nice sized construction vac. It has handled both water and dust easily. Forgot to put the filter back in though and the dust blew all over the space. Duh. With the filter, which can be rinsed out with a hose, the dust stayed put in the vac. I did get confused by the cover. It fits backwards, but then the hose does not attach. I called the company and studied the manual and because there was no photo of the full vac in the manual, I didn't realize I had the cover on backwards at first. The help line didn't think anyone would be so misguided to advise looking at if it was on backwards. But hey, I finally did figure it out.

What can I say, this desk lamp is a classic. You'll find this in any calibration or electronics shop because it just simply works. I bought this for my wife for crafts, but it has since remained at my desk as a regular desk lamp. I gave it 4 stars only because the metal parts can bend a little bit and I used one at work that was ancient where the knobs had cracked and broken off. But I'm careful about not over-tightening anything. The magnifier is decent too, especially with the round flourescent light, you have absolutely no shadows. Great for soldering, models, toenails, whatever you want to see.

Nova fixtures are made well, have many styles that will suit most contemporary settings. The packaging by Nova can be better. The staple used to close the box is much too close, and can damage the shade. It was just pure luck it wasn't. One of the Nickel decorative strips, on the front of the base fell off. It was laying on the bottom of the packaging material. A simple amount of glue resolved the issue. It was easier than having to return the fixture for something that was easily repaired. The quality looks really well, matching the dark brown wood trim of my sectional. Nova has a great many styles to choose from, and the quality of the fixture is very good. Bottom-line, I would order another lamp fixture from this company.
